Frequently Asked Questions

SRK requires veterinary vaccination records for all pets prior to boarding. Specifically, the following MUST be current:
Dogs: Rabies, DHLP, and Bordetella
Cats: Rabies and FVRCP

For the best experience for your pet, we highly encourage all owners to bring their usual diet from home to the kennel. This reduces the chance of digestive upset and helps your pet feel at home. Please pack food in an appropriate sized container for their stay (gallon or quart Ziploc bags, plastic storage container, etc.)

Or if you wish, SRK is pleased to provide a top grade pet food (Dogs – Kirkland Chicken, Rice & Vegetable dry food / Cats – Kirkland Salmon & Sweet Potato dry food).

SRK will provide treats for your pet. We love giving treats!

Yes, we are happy to give your pets their usual medications. Please refer to our pricing list for more info.

If your pet will not take medication when placed in their food dish, pet pill treats are required.

Yes! We allow customers to bring beds and/or blankets for their pets. However, SRK is not responsible for lost or damaged items. We suggest choosing a bed with a removable cover that can be washed if necessary, and no comforters, please!

We also allow toys. We do not allow rawhide or rope toys (and discourage fabric toys) at SRK due to the potential choking hazard.

For their welfare and identification, dogs are required to have standard collars (buckle & leash loop) with name tags. Slip collars and metal collars are not acceptable while boarding.

Stainless steel food bowls and water buckets are provided for dogs, and cats are provided with a litter box and food/water bowls.

If your pet has allergies, please bring enough food and treats for their stay. We give treats daily and don’t want your pet to feel left out!

We will do our best to accommodate special requests. Any associated fees can be discussed during the reservation process.

No, we do not do playgroups. All dogs are let out for individual play sessions with our staff twice a day (family dogs can go out together). This allows us to cater yard time for each pet’s needs and accept dogs that are dog-selective or not dog-friendly! All dogs must be friendly with people.

No, currently we do not have the space or equipment to offer baths.
